Does switching mph to kmph also change recorded mileage?

    I've always had analog speedometers that had the dual display of mph and kilometers side by side, I was wondering on the Prius C if you change one or the other, does it record your odometer as a change too, or does it retain whatever the native standard is for your country?

    I head into Canada from time to time and I wasn't sure if setting it to kilometers would record my odometer into kilometers, or if it just continues recording in miles

    The owners manual only mentions it changing the speed indication.

    No, it still shows Miles and the fuel display/graph shows mpg.
