Hi all! First post. I own a LEAF and lease a Ford Fusion Energi. When I leased the Ford Fusion Energi I got a great lease deal because the leasing company passed most (all?) if the $4000 fed tax credit to me. I have started negotiating lease rates with some local dealers on the Prime only to find that the leasing company seems to be keeping the credit. There are no lease deals to be had. Has anyone gotten a Prime lease where the leasing co passed the credit to them in the form of a substantial lease discount? Thanks for any insight you can provide. -Sean
I inquired about the same thing. Bottom line, Toyota will pass nothing on and they weren't offering any incentives to lease. It was a much better deal for me to drive from Missouri to New York to buy the Prime. So that's what we did. Saved $3600 by the way and got to pick the car we actually wanted instead of the one and only Prime that my local dealer was getting.
