I've had one issue since I bought this Prius 2010 used at the dealership. The radio periodically just stops working. There's nothing in the radio screen. The dealership wants a TON of money to fix it. I can't get the radio replaced at Best Buy, and the replacements, besides not fitting, look awful. Thoughts? Also, this car doesn't have Bluetooth. It has an audio jack, which I use. I like to listen to podcasts or even turn-by-turn directions and charge my phone at the same time, because I have family members who live hours away. At some point, my beloved iPhone 6 Plus is going to die, I don't want to use Android, and I'll be stuck with a 7 or 8. I don't want to have to buy a bunch of dongles. Thoughts?
oh, you said you had the issue since you bought it, i thought they gave a 30 warranty, at least. anyways, maybe a loose connection in the back. i think it would take some serious diagnosis. have you looked on ebay or salvage yards for a used oem replacement?
Apparently not a lot of those around here. Apparently I live in Podunk. I'll have to keep looking. Any thoughts on using an iPhone 7 in a 2010 Prius that doesn't have Bluetooth?
sorry, no. after the weekend, you may get some audio experts chiming in with advice. i had no idea there was a podunk, socal.
