Anyone know if I can get the lift up cargo cover for a 2015 Prius c3 and where? My brother has one on his 16 c2.
If you are talking about that shelf that goes from the top of the back seat to the back hatch and lifts up when the rear hatch is opened........ Those have been standard on the C's since day one and probably have been unchanged all that time. Any dealer should be able to get you one; some junk yards too. "Borrow" his and see if it doesn't fit.
That's not entirely correct. My understanding is that the models with the cover/shelf installed have different side panels to allow the shelf. Before you go buying a shelf you should make sure that your C is configured properly to accept it. You're actually lucky in that you can compare your side panels to your brother's to verify this (maybe you could post ack here to educate the rest of us with your findings?). I have a C1 and am fabricating my own rigid cover. I'm also intercepting the hatch release wiring so that it will require a remote control to open the back hatch. The idea being that my trunk area will be secure, even if someone breaks into the cab (also implies removing the seatback release knobs so the back seat can't be folded to defeat the security).
