I have dealt with 2 extremely unprofessional repair services in the last year. First is Gary Gaydon with Gaydon Automotive. I wish I had googled his name and seen his record and I truly mean "record" before using him and purchasing his worthless warranty. How many of you have 3 weeks to a month to wait for your warranty to be honored? I had to hire a reputable company to repair my Prius when he no showed repeatedly for appointments he confirmed. I also do not recommend Greenway Hybrid Services. They made an appointment to repair a cell in Panama City, Fl and cancelled leaving me stranded on a holiday weekend 6 hours from home. Owner is Walid Madani 404-940-2561. He advertises on Craigslist. Please check out any company before doing business.

Word of mouth and you have to vet them. I made the mistake of not vetting Gaydon. There was so much negative information that I should have looked for before hiring. I found 3 people in 24 hours that he had treated the same way he did me.

@jerrymildred knows a good hybrid place in Tampa. I do not know if they do batteries though. They should give good advice though.

I know it's a long drive from Atlanta to Tampa. Todd doesn't do house calls, especially that far away, but he is one of the best. You might give him a call if you still need repairs. His web site is Home - Tampa Hybrids Inc.. On this forum, he goes by @TampaPrius.com.

    Thanks, Jerry.
I just mentioned this since the O/P mentioned Panama City. I figured they might be willing to drive further for reputable service.

Thanks for mentioning Todd. I like to brag on him when I can. Well worth the drive if she needs help and can get the car (or the battery) there. I pulled my battery and took it to him and brought home the "new" one.
