I'm baaaaccck!!! Prius chatter of the year(me)

    Prius chatter of the year (me) is back!! Sold 05 in 11/05 for 1K less of what I paid it. Went by dealer Mon 6/26 bought 06,blue, #3 at MSRP. Supply is catching up to the demand--there were about 7 Prius available in Wash. D.C. area, if you can believe what's on the internet. One dealer keeps a #3 on his site and ask you to call for price. Nobody knows what the price is. When I went to the dealer, sales manager said the car on the site has been sold. 2 weeks later, the car is still there. Bait and switch and I fell for it. After a week and a half waiting for the car to come in, I told what they can do with their red # 6. I went back to Miller Toyota in Manassas VA, where I bought the 05 Prius. In about 2 hours I drove away with the car. Good dealer.

    I think all of the other hybrids are hurting the Prius a tiny bit. That and the new "small" cars like the yaris and fit. I have a friend who bought a yaris and was blabing about how it gets 40mpg and my prius gets only 43mpg (tiny bit better). Umm.. ya, his first tank was 27, then 29, 25, 33

    lol... I should have reminded him that mine gets 60 if we go off of the sticker. I was looking at the camry hybrid and a nicely loaded one is just slightly more than I paid for my prius.. :( I paid 26, it's 29.
