Hi everyone, I have 06 prius, 4 month ago i had triangle of death, replaced the number 26 module. Ran fine intill 2 days ago... Triangle back but when open the hv battery every cell was around 7.86 and 7.95 volts. The 12v tested at 12.46v.. what could be the problem this time. Im confused please help me out guys!!
Welcome to Prius Chat . How did make the initial repair? Did you charge up after the replacement? What are the other modules reading? Typically once the pack is broken and one repair is made, it is just a matter of time until the next repair comes. Keep us posted .
Is the same module bad? Is it another module? What balancing of the pack did you do once the new module was put in place?
The triangle does not always mean you have a battery issue. Best to read the codes to find your problem before messing with the battery
There is an epilogue PDFs on their site listing some lessons learned after the wreck (with a picture). They were fortunate to survive since the side airbags had been removed. There are other things they would change too if they did it again.
