P lock mechanism

    How do I reset p lock mechanism problem

    Things I've tried, changed out 12 volt battery, removed/ replaced 7.5 fuse, set on level ground depressed parking break, push & hold start button, also door chime stays on w/ out key in ignition

    what is the 12v measuring after it has been off a few hours?

    are all the doors shut tightly, especially the hatch?

    Can you start one step earlier, and tell us what your car was doing and what information led you to start doing all these things to reset your P lock mechanism?
