    Well, I explain over at top 20. Basically, just a matter of not enough time. The car works as delivery vehicle and to pull these numbers entails a unique time frame and strategy. If I had another car, I would have tried for a 1000 mile tank.

    I think 500 miles at half is freaking amazing as it is. :)

    Hey does the Top 20 challenge all have to be on the same tank of gas? Let's say that my most recent 400 mile travel was at like 70 mpg... but I was almost out of fuel, if I fill up does it not count?

    I know that, but it says "on the tank being submitted" - so if I refill, does it not count?

    Meh, oh well. - But that one guy who got 114 mpg, but he stayed in town the whole time? Now it's like not even fun to go for a top 20. o_O Too much competition. I'd rather have more fun/time with my car than competition.

    Yeah, plus I'm getting way better at pulse and glide plus timing at the lights. I did the same two-town commute and got 81.3 mpg. I can't always expect that, for the most part no one was behind me :D
