2014 siren/ alarm sound when I turn it on

    I just bought a 2014 Prius 4 on Monday and a couple days ago it started giving me this really strange siren or alarm sound when I turn it on. It's kind of hard to describe the sound exactly but I'm not sure what it could be. Has anyone had a problem like this?

    congrats and welcome!

    look under the dash for signs of an aftermarket alarm.

    Is it actually very loud like a car alarm or is it a whirring sort of sound coming from the engine compartment?

    It's more of a car alarm sound not a whirring sound. I recorded video of it but I can't figure out how to upload it
