I have a 2008 Prius second gen with 140000 miles. Pulled into a parking spot and stopped and the vcs and ! lit up. It still runs but no longer shows that the drive battery is charging and the display screen shows a little red car in the upper left hand corner with a ! in it. The car does not shut off anymore when I stop at a stop light. I'm going to get it to the dealer right away but was wondering if anyone knows what may be going on. Thanks
This kind of happened to me today. I just posted this " Hello! I have had 180,000 uninterrupted miles of smiles. Till I went to run an errand at lunch today. The VSC, ABS and (!) came on. The small (!) without the big red triangle. I plugged in my bluetooth OBDII scanner and found no codes. I stopped at the store. Came out and started the car. No warning lights. 30 feet away. All three came on again. Any thoughts? TIA" I am wondering what you found out about your problem back in '15
And I guess we will all die wondering as Scott was a one post wonder who has not been back on PC since that first post.
