Hello, I am interacting with the leasing office in my community if they could provide few charging bays for the three of the Prius Plug-in 2012 residents own. The leasing office respondent positively just that asked a question what it would take to provision one. I am thinking of a simple 15 amp point that would be close to one of the parking and we use our charger to charge. And may be with a mechanism to lock the charger in place while its charging. Kindly advise if 15 amp point is good enough. Also what components will be needed behind the 15 amp point. Thanks in advance. Regards.
i would try to get them to bite on a level 2 charger with two plugs so that 2 cars can charge at the same time. what would need to be provided would have to be assessed by and electrician. they would have to find the service box in the building, calculate the wire size and how to get it to the parking area. if that's too expensive, they might find some 120v outlets attractive.
AeroVironment Dual Pedestal 32 Amp Level 2 EV Charging Stations with 25 ft. Cable-19129 - The Home Depot would use two 40 amp circuits, a single unit would use one 40 amp circuit. AeroVironment TurboDock Pedestal - Dual EV Charging Station, TurboDock Dual Commercial/Workplace w/ Pedestal, 16-Amp - 20' Charge Cable A 16 amp (needs a 20 amp breaker) is not much cheaper, either. it would be much slower for true EVs.

@ChargePoint Team , Please advise how much will it cost to put up such a charger in my community. Could not get clear input on the cost part from the link shared. Thanks again for the great details already shared.
