I've just registered on this forum, and hope to learn a great deal. I don't actually own a Prius, but my daughter has just bought a 2008 Prius, and will, I'm sure, want me to fix every little thing which goes wrong or which irritates her. Therefore, I've got to become more familiar with the Prius. I've started reading, but I have a long way to go.

Welcome You probably want to correct the car in your user profile. It is a jumbled mess right now. Knowing what you own helps others provide relevant advice. There was no Prius Alpha sold in the US.
