I'm getting all of the above in my wife's 08 prius. Audibly i can hear a muted 'thump thump thump thump...." which i'm only assuming is the acumulator? Particular car has always had the "stirring" sound behind the inverter which cycles roughly every 12-15 seconds. thats not a new sound. so far I have: checked the brake fluid in the reservoir and made sure its topped off. checked the aux battery level and it measures 11.4v can a battery level just under 12v cause any of this?
Someone will undoubtedly jump in and say yes, but it won't be me. I'd just say go ahead and read your brake trouble codes, more on the soon side, and you can post those here. Feel free to use the jumper wire Tc to CG, count light blinks method, if you don't have a code reading tool. -Chap
All I have is an OBDII reader. And it returned a 0011 if I'm remembering correctly. Not sure if that's related.
You gotta be sure of the codes your scan tool is returning. Get a hybrid compatible scantool and scan. Dxta
