Was the intake manifold cleaned? What about the egr cooler? Any history of oil consumption? Is the engine coolant level stable?

You might be having fuel lean problems. If its possible, get so.e of these fuel stabilisers being sold at the dealerships, and try using em. But if you can't do that, you could manually clean the fuel injectors, and also check the fuel pump pressure if its within spec. Any lights on the dashboard? Check engine and maybe check hybrid system? Scan the car for codes. When the fuel throttle assembly is also clogged with carbon and all that crab, you'd experience same problem.
