Hi all, New to the forum and appreciate your help ahead of time. -What size are the 2017 R15 center caps? I measured and not sure but i think 52mm. -what depth? It looks like it clips deep into wheel. -Where to purchase? Not trying to buy $80 toyota set though, way to expensive for caps. Looking for ebay or Amazon $20 max for set of 4. Anyone purchase yet? Appreciate your time and assistance .
You can look them up easy, with online Toyota retailers. Google McGeorge Toyota for one, they're my go to. Enter the car stats, search for wheels i think. 3rd and 4th Gen centre caps have some variation: same bore dia but clips vary.
Pretty sure 3rd gen doesn't work: interior of bore groove is shifted: clips accordingly are different.
Wow, yeah ive looked everywhere amazon, ebay. Its around 52mm+- but not exactly sure and the depth is way different from other Gen's, i cant find the knock offs for under $20. Id have to slap myself if i pay $75 for 4 plastic oem center caps.... China's laggin on this one lol.
Im just gonna try out these electrical knock out covers for now and wait till China gets up to speed. Not paying $65+ for plastic caps, ridiculous. Time for some MacGyver action... Good day gentlemen and until that day comes, keep your ear to the grindstone.
I used the 1 1/2" knock outs with plumbers nylon tape wrapped around the outside, they worked well then I finally broke down and bought the Toyota suckers, one of the wheels was a little larger than the others and the knock out kept falling out, I wish I could remember the size, I have a bag full of incorrect size ones, my 06 was different than the 11 or the 16, go Toyota I certainly didn't pay 70$, searching, not finding the source. Ah, found them ebay item number 272937718268
