Hey guys I'm new to the Prius scene and never thought I would ever buy one but here I am haha. I've got to say that I'm really happy and impressed with my 2nd gen. Picked it up for $3,500 with 143,000 miles, brought it home and claybared, buffed, and steam cleaned the engine bay today.
Unfortunately salvaged, but thankyou! thought about it after but everything worked out great. Car drives amazing and did the reverse beeping mod already lol

I appreciate the feedback and now know not to ever steam clean a hybrid. I'm shopping for rims now and it's so hard because I'm used to running supper lower offsets and wide wheels and with our Priuses I'm stuck in the higher offsets, maybe a 8.5 width and I believe that pushing it right?
Steam cleaning a prius is fine, just as long as you're not running the garden hose under the hood full blast. Seriously guys! Telling him not to steam clean a prius sounds like something one of us would have said back in the early 2000s not really knowing about these cars.
