I rear-ended someone on the freeway yesterday pretty badly, causing the hood of my Prius to buckle upwards somewhat. Rain is forecasted in a couple of days and I'm wondering if I should be worried about water getting in under the hood before insurance has a chance to evaluate my car?
If the hood is bent, it'll need to be replaced. If it were my car, I would open the hood and bend it flat again to keep water out. Or you can buy a car cover
Bend it flat?? Wow, I'm not sure if I'm capable of that...But I'm sending it in for repairs today so hopefully, not too much moisture got in from dew and the like. Thanks for the advice!
