I've no idea exactly how to stop new accounts spewing spam, however I can (and so can you) ignore such posts by simply "ignoring" them (thanks to another suggestion¹ from someone much smarter than wot I am! ) ¹ see earlier post about this very subject!
lol. Accounts aren’t handed out but like any forum, anyone is free to sign up. The question is how many come through and thus become visible to you and how many are stopped at the gates as the forum goes about its day, blissfully unaware . Just report them if we don’t get to it before they post and we’ll deal with it. TIA!
I see spam, i report spam (just one post, the mods hate it when I spam them with spam notifications) then I ignore the poster (click on his name) and then click new posts and he is gone forever (for me) and reported (for you)
