So my 2014 PriusC has reached 80k KM and manual says to replace fuel filter. Dealer quoted me $150 for filter. Has anyone replaced? Is it a DIY thing? Anyone have part number? Thanks! iPhone ?
Australia I believe has a similar stipulation in the maintenance schedule. Due to gasoline quality issues? It's a fair undertaking, replacing it, maybe get an installed quote too.
Yes, fuel here in Nicaragua is horrible! That is the quote installed as labor is included in the 80k service. iPhone ?
Funny, I'm not seeing anything that says "filter", here: Fuel System Components for 2014 Toyota Prius C | Toyota Parts
$150 (US dollars) installed? I'll drink to that: if it's anything like regular 3rd gen Prius, it's not a trivial task. Strange though, I don't see a fuel filter for Prius c, on the above link. Might vary by country.
That’s what I think... Maybe different markets have different fuel filter requirements. Anyone from down under or Asia that can comment? iPhone ?
