Hello, When I am driving my dash board lights will flicker and dim and brighten on their own. I checked the 12v battery, and it shouldn't be that - was 12.4v. Not sure if may be related, but there were also two times I was pressing the gas, but not really seeming to be able to increase my speed. I have NO warning lights .... 2006 Prius - 160k - hybrid battery replaced about 10k miles ago. HELP!
I just started experiencing flickering of the dash and message center. Everything flickered off and on real quick a couple times.
It would be REALLY nice if some of the people who reported this problem MORE THAN A YEAR AGO would come back and report the outcome for the benefit of others. Seems like the overall number of considerate people keeps going down all the time. There have been similar discussions in the past. The "usual suspect" is a main 12 V battery cable that is loose or corroded. The next suspect is the battery itself; there can be bad connections INSIDE the battery. After that, a lot of things could cause an intermittent loss of power.
