I will be getting the Prius Plug In 1.8 2017 in a couple of weeks. Can anybody answer the following queries? 1. How many 12v sockets are there and where are they located? 2. Will the wireless charging station accept an iPhone X? Many thanks Martin
Two. One located between the front cupholders and the centre console box, next to the USB/iPod/AUX outlets. The second is located at the exterior rear of the centre console box for the rear passengers. (It's by the floor) Most likely. They are compatible but I cannot confirm personally since I own neither.
welcome to Prius Chat from Cornwall, UK! Mine's the hybrid Business Edition, and I can sit my old Nexus 6 with its 6"screen into the charging tray successfully. I've read that some on here struggled with a Samsung galaxy S8 plus, so you may well struggle to fit your iPhone X. Good luck anyway, though to meet have to use a lightning connector to a 12v usb socket which can give you enough power to run apps while driving. The USB in the to in my of the central arm rest is mainly for connecting media to the Toyota Touch 2 system and only gives about 1amp power.
Thank you. I am hoping to charge my phone wirelessly and use the two 12 volt sockets for my front and rear dash cams.
I will be getting the same model as you. Can you tell me does it have 2 or 3 seats in the back? I’ve seen both in YouTube reviews.
It has room for three in the back, but the centre seat is narrower than the side ones. All have seat belts fitted as standard. My first Prius ever and I'm really delighted with it!
Okay, but be prepared for the phone to get hot in process. I've got a splitter in the front socket and run 2 outlets from it successfully.
Sorry, you hooked me when you said you were getting one like mine! As @Prodigyplace said, mine's a non plug-in hybrid hatchback. Still love it to bits, though...
