Help with Inverter Part Numbers for 2010 Prius

    According to the Toyota dealer my Inverter has failed in my 2010 Prius. We don't have the 15 year warranty here in Canada. When search 2010/2011 used Inverters online, they don't all seem to be labelled with the same part number, there seems to be various ones. Does anyone know what the difference may be? Also does anyone know is an inverter from a 2013/14 will work in a 2010 Prius?

    Also in one of the repair manuals I'm looking at they talk about Type A inverters and Type B Inverters in the Prius's for those years, does anyone know what the difference is with those as well?

    Interesting topic. Watching. My workshop told me the same thing and I was also thinking whether the PIP inverter would work (probably not, but then why)?
