Any way to Turn Off keyfob detect for long term storage?

    Greetings - A few years ago I "upgraded" my prius from a 2004 to a 2010 and was wondering if anybody knows how to disable the 2010 prius from constantly searching for a nearby Keyfob?

    My 2004 had this ability, (which I discovered & read about Yrs ago on john1701) for when I went on a long vacation to prevent 12v battery drain...

    I recently came back from a 1 week trip and had to jump start my 2010 prius with a weak battery.
    Just today I replaced the original battery with a new one (46AH AGM) but now need to leave the state for an extended absence - and don't want another weak or dead battery when I return...

    Does anybody knows how to "disable" the 2010 prius from constantly searching for a nearby Keyfob?

    Starting with the 2012 refresh, Gen3 SKS can be turned on and off from the touch-screen display.

    But since 2010-11s didn't have a touch-screen display as standard equipment ...
