Hello Los Angeles County Prius Prime community, are any of you guys familiar with SCAQMD rebate? Residential EV Charging Incentive Pilot Program I met with a member here and he told me that he received around $2,000 rebate for his purchase of Prius Prime Advanced. I tried looking into it and calling SCAQMD but they weren’t aware of it. Did anybody get any rebate from SCAQMD?
It's a rebate on the EVSE, NOT THE CAR..... Program Details The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) has established a residential Electric Vehicle (EV) charging incentive pilot program to offset Level 2 (240v) EV charger hardware costs. This program will be available to residents within the SCAQMD’s four-county jurisdiction. The program will provide an incentive to buy-down the cost of residential chargers, which typically range from $400-$800. The program will be implemented on a first come, first served basis and will provide up to $250 for the cost of hardware for Level 2 residential chargers. An additional incentive of up to $250 will be available for low-income residents.
