Hi guys Signing in from Denmark, I just want to say hello. My new Prius Plug-in (Prime) in Pearl White (070) have been on order for 11 days now - I'm very excited, but as the chariots slot in production is in may, there is still 3 months until estimated delivery. I'm have to get the windows tinted and replacing all regular lightbulbs with LEDs. I would like to get the roof wrapped, but I'm not convinced if it should be mat or glossy black - are there any pros and cons I have know about - other than the looks? /Kim
welcome! the wait is difficult, but worthwhile. read up in some of the prime threads, and check gen 3 mode for wrap info. all the best!
Welcome from me also. I have the Gen 4 hybrid - not plugin - and I find the non-LED lamps are perfectly satisfactory on the interior. The trunk area is the least well lit part, so I use a battery led auxiliary lamp loosely attached to the opposite side.
Only 15 days until my Prius PHV/Prime arrives - I'm so excited. Mudflaps, rear bumper protection, luggage compartment tray is already on the shelf ready for installation. I've also ordered installation 20 % window tint and glossy black roof wrap. So I'm hoping that the black antenna (color: 218) from the regular Prius will match - it has a slight blueish tint when the light is coming from the right angle. And on Thursday I will be receiving a black gear surround, also from a regular Prius - fingers crossed. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I've now had my Prius for almost 48 hours - and I love it. My tint is 15% Panthera 285 C and the wrap is a glossy black Avery Supreme. It have only driven 100 km by now and it's a pleasure to see the average consumption (in HV-mode) is 3,4 l / 100 km - my old car is 8,5 l /100 km.
The Prime is a beautiful car. I live in So Cal and I see a lot of Primes. Also, believe it or not, I see a lot of Mirai's. Can't believe that Hydrogen is selling here. It isn't cheap to produce.
