anyone bought a car cover with the hole for the plug? i have find many online sellers but no one have one with the hole already made. Everyone ensure me it will fit perfectly but i will need to make the hole. anyone can help? ill be leaving next week for 6 weeks and would need a car cover for my prius. thank you
Buy a cover and make the hole youself, it probably will take like 5 minutes, you won't find one with the hole already.
welcome! if you are leaving for 6 weeks, you do not want to plug it in. drive it until the engine comes on, and leave it in that low state of charge.
I was assuming that it was for taking on the trip, but you're right, @bisco about not leaving it plugged in if you're leaving it at home. Good catch.
hello guyz, it is not to take with me. I will put it without the hole first but then when i come back i would like to use the cover!!!! not just throw it after. I am thinking for after as well. any good company online where i can order a cover?
I've never heard of one either. I would imagine that they would sell so few of them that it wouldn't be worth the cost of setting up to make them and stock them. But it shouldn't be hard to make your own hole and, if you don't have a sewing machine, find someone else who can hem it.
