2012 PiP with Static on the Radio

    We have a 2010 green 3 and the radio is fine...no worries. We also have a 2012 PiP with an updated radio (HD) with terrible strategic even on strong local channels. Results are the same regardless of using the HD side or traditional radio.

    Antenna? No signs of damage... Car is like new. Thoughts?

    I get strong interference when I make a call and the phone is near the dash. When I move it away It goes away.

    I didn't see this till this morning. Sounds like the installer forgot to connect the antenna cable to the radio.

    Is the phone connected to a charger connected to the prius when static is transmitted?
