I want to install a small powered sub in my Prius, and I'd like to tap into the speaker wires coming out of the factory JBL amplifier under the passenger seat but I don't know which wires are for the L rear and R rear woofers. Has anyone done something like this before? I've seen a few posts for 2010 Prius owners doing the same thing, but their JBL amps have different connections than the 2012. Thanks for any help you can provide!
I found an install guide for the 2nd gen prius with Jbl amp, not sure how different it is from ours. But they basically tapped into the blue connector plug. pins 3+9 and 4+10 are the rear left and rear right inputs for sub. It's titled "Subwoofer Insatllation in 2008 Prius (with JBL audio system).
