Is there specific pids/info you're looking to pull from the vehicle that wouldn't be accessible using an app like Hybrid Assistant: App
I'd like to get some more battery and hybrid related info. I've seen Hybrid Assistant but, so far it won't stay connected to my OBDlink LX. Torque and the OBDlink app that goes with the adapter both have no problems staying connected.
The Hybrid Assistant app get the Toyota model number from the VIN. The the moment it does not handle the 2018 Camry hybrids. The author of HA is looking at it for my 2018 Camry SE.
I heard back from the HA developers. Since the SE has a different system than the others (li-ion vs nimh) it will be awhile.
Maybe after Toyota starts selling the Camry hybrid in Europe, it will get added to HA. I think the data from the OBD2 and CAN bus interface needs to be reversed engineered to get it added.
