Hello Need assistance. I shared the picture that OBD showed (code P0a80) Technician told me that the hybrid battery is going to be dead soon and I must replace it. Is it the code representing the same? Please help if anybody knows .... Thanks Regards Bkt
Welcome. Sorry for the bad news. If you're showing a P0a80, then the traction battery is probably the problem. Sub codes will give more detail. I don't know the warranty on the battery in Pakistan, but here it's at least 100,000 miles or 8 years depending on which state you live in. Is this a Prius c as it says in your profile, or a Plug in, which is the forum where you're posting? If it's a c, you'll get a lot more response from Prius c owners if you pose your question in that forum.
