Anyone know why this might be, and how I can get the volume back? I can hardly hear it at the moment. The normal reverse beeping is still as loud as ever.
Thanks for your response Ed. I’ve got rear parking sensors and they beep when you’re reversing and get close to something behind you. I’ve not had the car long and they’ve been working fine (and loud) until lately and they’re now almost inaudible, especially with the loud reverse beeping too! I think they have their own speaker and it may be a bad connection there, but I don’t know where it’s located. Any idea?
Could it be an option that was offered in Europe but not here? I happened to be checking something at Kelley Blue Book today and parking assist was listed as one of the options available on the 2008 Prius I was looking up.
Thanks for the responses guys. Yes it's a T Spirit and it seems that the reverse sensors were fitted by the Toyota dealer as an accessory at the time of purchase. However, I'm still no closer to diagnosing why I can hardly hear the beeping!
