I’m thinking about putting a receiver hitch on my 2018 Prius for use as an occasional bike rack. I have a couple of questions - any suggestions as to where I can get a quality installation done? And two, should I expect a hit on the MPGs, and if so, how much? Thanks, Rosencrantz.
I’m in California, US. I suppose I should add... I’m asking about the potential MPG hit as a result of the receiver install. I’m pretty sure MPGs will be affected with bikes loaded.

I had a two-inch receiver hitch on my '04. You can barely make it out on the avatar. I don't believe that it ever affected the economy. It did not disturb the airflow and was not significantly heavy, the two things that make a difference. I actually used it once to pull an empty trailer home but it was installed by the PO for your same purpose, bike rack.
