I have an OBD-2/USB link I've used for other cars.

Can I use it with Techstream, or do I need to get a new Mini-VCI from eBay/Amazon?

    Thanks in advance.

You have nothing to loose by trying it. If it fails buy the VCI.

OK. I'll give it a try and report back.

    Thanks!

Something often missed when setting up is on the opening page of Techstream. With the adapter connected go to setup then vim select. Then choose the adapter you are using. If your adapter is not shown it cannot be used. It does not need to be connected to the car for this step.

Has anyone tried using techstream with one of those Chinese Bluetooth ODB2 dongles?
