Hi all: I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this. When I was driving home today from a 60 miles trip (city and hwy), the master warning light flashed once and buzzed once. The light didn't stay on. I tried reading the code with obd2 at home. But there was no code. Is this normal? Thanks,
can be for one of the safety systems i think. check your oil level what code reader? it may not be prius aware.
Thanks for the reply Bisco. The oil level seems ok. I'm using VEEPEAK WIFI OBD2 scanner. I'm using Dashcmd app. The car seems to run fine and the warning hasn't come back.
I've not brought it in for service yet. I'll bring it up when it's up (in a couple of weeks). I'll report back.
I had a series of malfunctions show 2½ yrs ago - ended up being the brake light switch faulted - possibly once only. But I got the dealer to look - the Malfunctions each said something like - "take to dealer".
