wheres the best place to find an MG2 stator assembly for Gen2?

    Dorman makes G1 stators? Dorman makes anything for a G1?

    Isn’t it easier just to replace the entire transmission? Used units are probably less than a stator.

    Junkyard Prius that was put there from rear or side collision. Agree with others - just replace the entire assembly.

    What could have happened to the stator maybe the drive axle got chewed up?

    Replace the trans is easier. You wont be able to buy a stator anywhere except maybe the dealer. Cheaper to buy a used trans.
