What is with all problematic issues with radios in the 2010 Prius? It has even had an impact on the Consumer Report reliability ratings. Mine will turn off, not turn off, the buttons won't work but the steering wheel controls do. Has anyone figured what is wrong with radio. Sometimes when I go back and restart the car, its OK. Or if I slap it it will snap out of it. So weird.

sounds like a loose connection, or bad solder joint. i think the c/r thing is more related to entune.
You may or may not be interested, but I replaced the entire system from my 2010 II (Two) less than a week after I received it with a custom system. I'm on the other side of Dallas from you, but if you're interested, I might be willing to just give you the original HU and speakers if you want to meet somewhere in between at a time and place convenient for both of us. I don't need them and the stuff is just sitting around in a box. Can't promise the HU won't eventually go bad too, but it and the speakers are essentially brand new and will probably outlast your car's useful life. My bad allenwagon...I reinstalled my factory system before getting rid of my 2010. Work nights and wasn't coffeed up when I made that post. Very sorry about that.
