The Australian version of the 2014 Prius v has two pull up roller sun shades for the rear passenger windows. The fabric on one of them has come off the lifter bar at one corner. Does anyone know how to repair this? Attached are photos showing the sun shade and a zoom in to the area where the fabric has detached. Zoom in of detached corner :
Our ‘04 Sienna has those type of sunshades and our new to us dog tore one up while we were having a meal at a restaurant. I opened the panel and replaced the whole thing, kind of like a toilet paper roll...
The attached image shows the "curtain" and its part number. The curtains are one of many features that were available on the Prius v/+ sold in other parts of the world but not in North America. The similar curtains in our Toyota Sienna sure are nice.
