Warranty for new battery.

    My battery failed and I replaced it with a new one at a TOYOTA dealer for 2500€. The warranty for the new battery is only one year. Does this make sense? Shouldn't it be more due to high cost?

    i can't speak for greece, or eu. in usa they changed it from a one to a three year warranty, a year or two ago.

    but i wouldn't be concerned. there's a 99.999% chance that you won't have any problems for at least 8 years

    In the US, if you buy & install it is a 1 year warranty. If you pay the dealer to install it is a 3 year warranty.
