09 Prius Beeping when shut down then dead in am

    Every now and then my car starts beeping continually after I shut it off and then exit the car. Only turns on when I exit and beeps like I left my keys in the ignition but it's keyless. The beeps are inside.

    When I get back to the car the next morning it's dead.

    Anyone know wth is causing this!?

    The lights shut off on its own - the key is just the fob and all the doors are shut.

    What's the message on the screen when it's beeping? If it senses the fob still in that car, that could be it, but it would say on the screen what the problem is.

    Check the 12v and fob battery health.
    Do you have a second fob?
