Hi all, my 2004 Prius is having some intermittent issues. What happens is I will be driving along and I will get the /!\ CEL, ABS and TRC light and the ICE will start runing, I have had this issues intermittently since Oct. before simply restarting the car would resolve the issue. Now it works only when it wants to, I have had some luck moving the wires that go into the fuse box as a tempoary fix and the issues seems to be caused by bumps in the road so my money is on something is lose are being shorted. The DTC codes are always either u0100 or u0293 or both. I have a mini VCI on the way. I have already replaced the 12v and have tested it.
i have 2010 gen3 I just put a engine out of a wreck that had 150miles on it. after swap now dash says check hybrid system and I have a U0100 code. car gets ready but doesn't start gas engine.
I know its been some time, but did you ever fogure out wat caused the u0100 code? I have an 2009 and having same issue. Titled 2009 prius ICE not starting. Thank you Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
