Changing ECU/Security module for lost all keys

    I have 2 cars here both Japanese imports

    First is Gen2 2012 crash damaged not bad can be still driven just not worth fixing
    Second is Gen 2 2008 lost all keys

    Can i change all the ECU/security modules from wreck to lost keys and have it work??

    These cars are Japanese imports so don't have VIN numbers!!

    Isn't the 2012 a Gen 3 and the 2008 a Gen 2?

    I would suspect they are not compatible....
