Hi all, recently the floor lever which releases the fuel cap loosened then broke, in our 2006 UK Prius T-Spirit. We are now unable to open the fuel cap as the lever is completely separated. Any clues as to how to open the fuel cap without this? Or do we need to pull up the floor carpet to access the cable that presumably is connected to the fuel cap? Thanks!
welcome! check your owners manual, there might be an interior release in the hatch, i'm not sure. otherwise, it's pull up the carpet and fix it, which is probably a good idea anyway.
Thanks chaps - actually I have a UK T-Spirit, 2006 but there's no option to select that in the Prius Chat settings! I solved it in the end (short-term anyway) - there's a little cable with a hammer-head end (?) which pulls open the fuel cap door. Pic attached!
