All I found online was owners manuals that helps with traditional maintenance of basic components. I'd like to find a repair manual with step by step instructions on, for example, how to replace a CV axle. Thank you!
Sorry but only owners manuals. https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInfoPortal/appmanager/t3/ti?_nfpb=true&_windowLabel=preloginsearchform&preloginsearchform_actionOverride=%2Fportlets%2FPrelogin%2FSearchForm%2FsearchDocument&_pageLabel=ti_home_search_docs_page
That’s the most authoritative source for owners in North America. A few months ago, I posted a PriusChat Wiki article, “Toyota Service Information and Where To Find It,” with some alternatives, such as the ChiltonLibrary service, which many people can use at no charge.
It would be nice if the auto manufacturers would publish a basic maintenance compendium, freely available. I suppose it's tricky deciding where to set the cut-off.
Toyota Prius 2003-2006 Service Repair Manual | Free Download and various other factory service manuals
Someone very assiduously added that link today to about a dozen and a half threads about the service manual. Makes me imagine he gets something when we click there. Or we get something when we click there.
Actually it was added to 3 or 4 links only. I was just looking for free Corolla 10th gen factory service manuals everywhere on the web. This website was the only one that I found which has numerous useful manuals. Therefore, I think it may be useful to share it since I was also having difficulty finding free factory service manual on Priuschat.
Yes, indeed. it is definitely not comprehensive. however, it has all the cars that I am interested in which includes Prius (2nd, and 3rd gen) and Corolla (10th gen).
I see now that I overstated the number, sorry. Seemed like more to me as I was viewing them all. I count five. https://priuschat.com/posts/2884467/ https://priuschat.com/posts/2884465/ https://priuschat.com/posts/2884464/ https://priuschat.com/posts/2884463/ https://priuschat.com/posts/2884460/
