look for the chicken dance thread. It works. I've done it and many others on the forum have used it to program new keys and they've been fully functional.

Read through it. Print out the portion needed and do a couple practice runs. I printed it out, had my son sit in the passenger seat and I sat in driver seat. He was the reader and I was the performer. Did 2 dry runs to make sure we were familiar with it and then did it for real. Worked perfect.

 

This is the SKS part # 89994-47061; verify it is correct for your year/model Prius. You can call your local Toyota parts dept or a online Toyota parts dealer to get the correct part# and their price.

I like Camelback Toyota. Even though price for the SKS fob is a little bit more ($164.21), I would add maintenance parts to the order: oil filters, water pump, belt, brakes, etc. You'll have to enter the SKS part # to see the price.
