Today I replaced the driver's side door lock actuator on my 2013 Prius. Works fine now. I decided to tear apart the old unit as I wanted to see how difficult it is to replace the motor. Unfortunately, when popping open the old unit, the internal parts flew. I want to put it back together but cannot find a diagram or picture of a GEN III driver's door lock. Does anyone have one to share? All I need to a visual. Attached is a pic of the unit open with the parts.
See if you can get the exploded view from the dealer, without having to actually buy the ridiculously expensive repair manual.
There won't be an exploded view in Toyota service literature, because the thing is just replaced as a unit. It'll be a matter of applying your own mechanical sense and reasoning it out.
