I've been working on the exhaust recovery tank. I was using compressed air to blow out the exhaust actuator. Took awhile to pop that sucker out. When it finally popped out, the actuator and the stopper came flying out into a bucket. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the orientation of how the stopper goes in. Does anyone have any information regarding the correct orientation? From the pictures you can see it marked on stopper. Just want to be sure. I tested the actuator it did pop up but it never went back down to its original spot when I first removed it. Pictured in my hand.
You can see on the stopper it has a channel on one side. Should the channel be facing the actuator or away ? Thanks for posting the diagram.
See what you mean. Might be more info in the attached pdf, not sure. Isn't that a brilliant instruction: Be sure to install the exhaust pipe gas control stopper in the correct direction.
