Hello, i got those values in the diagnostic mode. 01 DC 190 17 2 01 DS 190 38 D 01 DB 190 2c f EMV Chek What is that exactly?
Who told you those codes were error codes? I believe they are codes for the entertainment system, not error codes. Do you have warning lights on?
As @Skibob kindly points out, these are diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the audio or navigation system. The Repair Manual (more info) explains how to decode them. Logical address: 01 (Communication control) DTC: DC (Failure in transmission) Sub code: 190 (Radio receiver assy) Connection check number: 17 Occurrences: 2 “DS” isn’t a valid code; it should be a hexadecimal number. I’m assuming this was really D5. Logical address: 01 (Communication control) DTC: D5 (Absence of registration unit) Sub code: 190 (Radio receiver assy) Connection check number: 38 Occurrences: D (13) Logical address: 01 (Communication control) DTC: DB (Mode status error) Sub code: 190 (Radio receiver assy) Connection check number: 2C Occurrences: F (16) If these are codes from the EMV (multi-display) page, they indicate a possible communication problem between the multi-display and the radio receiver assembly. The Repair Manual suggests to check the power source circuit for the radio receiver assembly; to check the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the radio receiver assembly; and if no trouble is found with either circuit, to replace the radio receiver assembly. Obviously, those diagnostic steps would be useful only for a problem with the audio or navigation systems. For problems with other systems on the car, you’ll need to use a Toyota Techstream diagnostic system or equivalent, connected to the DLC3 (OBD II) connector, to check for DTCs.
