Brand new hybrid battery installed by Toyota dealership at 155K miles. Currently has 208K miles. Silver exterior, grey interior. Has rear bumper damage but does not interfere with hatch closure and small dent on edge of hood. Runs well but periodically the check engine triangle light comes on then goes off. We took it to the dealership nearly 2 years ago and they ran a diagnostic on the car but couldn't find anything wrong with it. Dealership performed a tune up and we have been driving it with no problems (except the triangle light goes off and on). Recently got a new job with company car. So we no longer need this Prius. Took it to Toyota dealership to run diagnostic again since we were going to sell it. They kept it for 3 weeks trying to get the check engine light to stay on and register a code during several test drives. They could not determine anything wrong with it and said sometimes the light will come on for a minor problem such as loose light bulb and go off again without registering a code. As I said, we've been driving it for about 2 years with no problems other then the red triangle going off and on periodically. I have the official report from dealership stating they could not find anything wrong with the car. Kelly Blue Book private sales price is between $1828 and $3889 for fair condition. The fairly new dealership hybrid battery and tires alone is well worth my $1500 asking price. But this car has plenty of get up and go remaining and is a great ride.

The red triangle going on and off periodically normally means the car is low on oil pressure. Adding some oil to correct the oil level should solve the problem. $1500 is a great price for a car with a newish hybrid battery in it.

Thank you for your advice. I will look into it. We weren't really sure what to price it. Thank you for that advice as well.
