The last step in my interior LED conversion plan is to upgrade the footwell and glove box lights. The OEM lights seem to be as described in this post about a Prius V retrofit. I need better wiring instructions than in that thread. Would someone be so kind as to detail for me how I would wire tiny LED panels like the ones below into my 2016 Prius Four? Thanks much!
This post made me so curious I went and popped one out of my Gen 3, having assumed all along it was already an LED, and it is. What's the point? Just to have a different color LED?
Yes, I want to upgrade the appearance of the OEM lamps. In my circumstance, with LED panels like I posted. And yes, they will have a different color. For my Gen 4 Prius, I'd appreciate any explicit instructions on how to wire such panels into the existing housing. Thanks much, truly.
Sorry, I just didn't know what to make of the thread title "upgrading ... to LED" when they already are LED. Not questioning your color change, if that's what you're into.
The Multi-Light panel in the image just plugs right in, the prongs are pretty much the same as factory, look inside the plug in opening of the light, if there are prongs there, I should be right.
